The Entry Level Hardware Developer position at IBM focuses on developing, testing, and providing customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors. As part of the Infrastructure & Technology team, you will work with cutting-edge microprocessors and hardware used in IBM's infrastructure, including IBM zSystems and IBM Quantum Systems. Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors.
- At least three months of experience in designing or manufacturing hardware products.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and architecture, programming languages, and hardware description languages.
Responsibilities
- Participate in logic design and verification, physical design, and analog/IO design.
- Conduct electronic design automation and signal integrity analysis.
- Support microelectronics packaging and materials analysis.
- Engage in circuit design and printed circuit board physical design.
- Assist in thermal design and testing, as well as voltage regulation and power delivery.
- Provide customer and field engineering support.
