As a Roadway Design Engineer at Jacobs, you will be based in Portland or Bend, Oregon, working on exciting transportation projects. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in highway and roadway design to lead teams on larger projects. You will collaborate with the Portland and WSDOT Olympic Region offices to solve complex transportation problems and identify innovative solutions. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in transportation work with an emphasis on roadway/highway and geometrics final design
• Professional Engineering license
• MicroStation/Inroads and Openroads background
• Experience with plans preparation, specifications, estimates and design documentation

• Lead teams on larger roadway design projects
• Collaborate with transportation teams to solve complex problems
• Identify innovative solutions using functional knowledge and existing methodologies
• Serve as a best practice and quality resource for functional teams
• Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, and design documentation
