Job description
The Mid-Level Structural Engineer will be a key member of the Cities and Places team in Boise, Idaho, focusing on structural analysis and design for various projects. This role involves working collaboratively with multi-disciplined design teams and clients to deliver innovative solutions. The engineer will engage in projects ranging from manufacturing and healthcare facilities to water treatment plants. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
- Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.) or the ability to obtain it.
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure and building-related design projects.
- Ability to perform as a lead structural engineer.
- Experience working in a multi-discipline team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, and AISC.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects.
- Engage in design efforts for manufacturing, education, and healthcare facilities.
- Produce construction drawings and specifications.
- Provide construction support services.
- Collaborate closely with Senior Project Managers and clients.
