Citi is looking for a Lead Analyst to join the US Consumer Cards Business Control team, focusing on managing audit and regulatory examination processes. This role serves as the primary contact for internal and external audits, ensuring effective governance and resolution of risk findings. The position requires a blend of strategic influence and operational execution, impacting senior leadership and regulatory bodies. The Lead Analyst will drive a culture of accountability and control excellence within the organization.

• 6–10 years of experience in operational risk management, internal audit, regulatory examination management, or business controls within a large financial services institution.
• Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls with a record of implementing sustainable, risk-reducing solutions.
• Deep understanding of consumer credit card operations, banking products, and their associated operational and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical capability to evaluate complex control activities and translate data into clear insights.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior auditors and regulators.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.

• Lead coordination of all internal audit reviews and regulatory examinations across the USCC business.
• Establish and execute a structured pre-audit readiness program to prepare business owners for audits.
• Manage the flow of all audit and regulatory requests, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
• Partner with business leaders to review and address audit observations reflecting the true risk landscape.
• Perform root cause analyses and thematic reviews to identify systemic control weaknesses.
• Maintain executive-level dashboards tracking audit statuses and corrective action plan milestones.
• Ensure all audit findings are mapped to the Managers Control Assessment framework.
• Assess issue remediation trends using data analytics and develop corrective action plans.
