Job description

The Data/Information Management Analyst is a strategic professional responsible for various data activities, including database administration, data analysis, and data quality. This role requires significant expertise to resolve complex problems and guide decision-making within the business. The analyst will have full ownership of processes and may supervise junior employees. The position has a substantial impact on the overall performance of the sub-function and the business.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in a quantitative field
  • Excellent analytical and practical problem-solving abilities
  • Solid understanding of the consumer lending market, customer life cycle, and P&L
  • Experience in segmentation, modeling, and optimization
  • Working experience in the Financial/Credit Card Industry
  • Know-how on analytic tools such as SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, and SPSS
  • Experience with methodologies including regression, CHAID, and simulation
  • Big data and machine learning experience with tools like R and Python
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage various data activities including database administration and data quality.
  • Resolve complex problems or transactions requiring expertise in policies and guidelines.
  • Take full ownership of one or more processes, reports, or products.
