Job description

We are seeking experienced software engineers to join our team focused on the CUDA driver, a critical component for enhancing general purpose computation on GPUs. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative features that leverage NVIDIA hardware for various computational tasks, including deep learning and virtual reality. As part of this role, you will engage in designing and coding solutions that shape the future of CUDA. Collaboration with peers across NVIDIA is essential to ensure the best compute platform is achieved.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong C programming skills
  • Minimum of 10+ years of related development experience
  • Experience working with large codebases
  • Background with operating system interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory
  • Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs
  • Good written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement new features for new chips and kernel features
  • Coordinate with other teams to accomplish daily work
  • Help define forward-looking improvements to the CUDA APIs and programming model
  • Write effective, maintainable, and well-tested kernel and userspace code
  • Develop code for multiple Linux operating systems
