Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineer for its Design-for-Test Engineering team, focusing on innovative solutions for DFT architecture and validation of complex semiconductor chips. The role involves working with pre-silicon and post-silicon data analytics, leading engineering efforts, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates will apply algorithm design and statistical tools to solve complex problems in the Design For Test space. This position offers the opportunity to develop and deploy methodologies using Gen AI solutions.

Requirements

  • BSEE with 5+ years, MSEE with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of experience in low-power DFT, Data Visualization, Applied Machine Learning or Database Management.
  • Experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling is crucial.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, C++, or Tcl.
  • Excellent knowledge in using statistical tools for data analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Work with pre-silicon and post-silicon data analytics including visualization, insights, and modeling.
  • Design and uphold data pipelines and ETL processes for DFX Engineering data.
  • Lead engineering efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements.
  • Apply algorithm design and statistical tools to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
  • Help develop and deploy DFT methodologies for next generation products using Gen AI solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs including cost and quality.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
