The Manager, Cyber Security Engineering position at Morgan Stanley is focused on leading the Cloud and Platform Security team. The manager will set technical direction, manage engineers, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance security measures. • At least 7 years of relevant experience in software engineering and security.
• A minimum of 2 years in a tech lead or people manager role.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex business problems into clear technical solutions.
• Deep experience in building and operating large-scale platforms in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience in building developer-facing security tooling or platforms.

• Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for security engineering within the Cloud and Platform Security domain.
• Architect end-to-end data pipelines and platforms that support security telemetry, compliance reporting, and risk analytics.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and patterns for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and access control.
• Lead and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable data infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Mentor and grow a team of engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and ongoing technical coaching.
