As a Solutions Architect at Apple, you will be integral to the AppleCare Diagnostics and Repair team, focusing on the design and implementation of diagnostic and repair tools for field service events. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to translate customer needs and use cases into high-level technical designs.
- Working knowledge of product development lifecycles and client-server design principles.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Background in large-scale systems design, hardware and software diagnostics, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with qualification and validation methodologies for hardware or diagnostic tools.
- Ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts and manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, with critical thinking skills and a willingness to challenge existing ideas.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction for designing, qualifying, and implementing hardware and software diagnostic and repair tools.
- Translate customer needs and system requirements into new tool designs.
