The Siri's Runtime Platform team at Apple is seeking a resourceful software engineer to develop the next generation of natural interaction platforms for Siri. This role focuses on advancing the distributed system logic that enables Siri to respond seamlessly to user requests across various environments. The ideal candidate will work hands-on to enhance Siri's capabilities and create sophisticated simulation environments for rigorous testing. Collaboration with cross-functional partners is essential to identify and resolve dependencies effectively.

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong expertise in Swift or Objective-C or C++ programming language
• Solid experience in software development with contributions to code, code reviews, and design reviews
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, particularly in Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and API design
• Experience working with large-scale data evaluation or simulation frameworks
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Expertise in design patterns
• Experience contributing to shipping platforms or products to production and supporting them post-launch
• Experience driving technical decision-making and software development from product definition to ship for multiple products
• Familiarity with data modeling and algorithmic policy design
