The Expert Consultant in the Technology Insights Group at Bain & Company will work closely with global tech leadership and regional private equity teams. This role focuses on technology due diligence and value creation for software businesses, leveraging extensive expertise in technology and consulting. The consultant will engage with clients to address complex challenges and enhance their understanding of how technology impacts their businesses. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and exposure to high-level executives in the tech industry.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years in a software or technology-related position or industry.
- Technical due diligence experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to rapidly absorb and interpret technical information.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional agility.
- Strong analytical capabilities and background.
- Undergraduate or Master's degree from a top tier university in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive technology due diligence and value creation assignments on behalf of private equity investors.
- Actively contribute across the entire client engagement, from formulating the project scope to building and presenting the final report.
- Drive and support the primary and secondary research efforts of the team.
- Conduct hypothesis-led problem solving and communicate complex ideas.
- Effectively develop and communicate recommendations and insights to project teams and technology leaders.
- Invest in special initiatives and projects that help scale the practice.
