Job description

The Senior position in the Government and Public Sector - Assurance - Tech Risk team at EY involves delivering quality client services on financial statement audits and IT control projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or a closely related field
  • Must be able to obtain a federal security clearance
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls
  • Experience in relevant audit/control testing engagements
  • Understanding of IT technical security controls and Federal IT audit/examination methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key resource in delivering quality client services on financial statement audits and IT control projects
  • Conduct research as needed and assist in the testing of IT general and application controls
  • Prepare for and potentially lead client meetings while establishing relationships with client personnel
  • Demonstrate working knowledge in key capabilities such as IT general and application controls, risk management, and information security
  • Collaborate among team members to promote an inclusive working environment
