Job description

The role is for a staff member in the Technology Risk team within EY's Government and Public Sector practice. This team focuses on delivering quality client services related to financial statement audits, IT control projects, and risk management for U.S. federal agencies. The position involves collaborating with professionals across various disciplines to drive performance improvement and program effectiveness. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that help government clients achieve their mission outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in information assurance, information security, risk management, IT and application controls.
  • Experience preparing written or verbal materials and assisting with presenting project results to clients.
  • Must be able to obtain a federal security clearance.
  • Candidate must be comfortable working in-person/onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key resource in delivering quality client services on financial statement audits and IT control projects.
  • Conduct research as needed and assist in the testing of IT general and application controls.
  • Prepare for and potentially lead client meetings, establishing relationships with client personnel.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge in IT general and application controls, risk management, and information security.
  • Collaborate among team members and promote an inclusive working environment.
