Job description

The Lead Technical Product Owner position at Vice President level focuses on defining the product vision and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional to oversee Technology Architecture program governance and enhance architecture policy across internal tech teams. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers to implement data-driven governance frameworks and promote best practices. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for collaborating with diverse teams and driving program success.

Requirements

  • Overall experience between 15-20 years in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience with IT project delivery and Program Governance.
  • Well-developed business and requirements analysis skills.
  • Experience in developing and managing architecture governance processes.
  • Demonstrated project planning and management skills.
  • Agile coaching and practitioner experience with multiple teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Background in business, operations/change management, and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support WM Enterprise architecture team with planning and execution of the architecture governance function.
  • Track governance reviews and drive accountability with action plan owners.
  • Provide reporting to senior leadership and regulators on compliance to Architecture control function.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise architecture policy control and governance teams.
  • Develop strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders.
  • Drive teams in planning and executing roadmaps and work backlogs.
  • Lead efforts to identify risks and resolve key project conflicts.
  • Create a collaborative work environment that fosters transparency and innovation.
  • Coach and mentor others in best practices of modern planning and execution.
