The Semiconductor Device Modeling Engineer will be part of Intel's Compact Device Modeling Group, which focuses on enabling design teams to deliver innovative products for data-centric applications. This role involves characterizing device behavior and generating or updating device models for new technologies. The engineer will work with state-of-the-art process technology and contribute to model simulations that ensure accuracy and robustness. The position requires collaboration with diverse design teams to meet various customer needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience in the semiconductor field, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of industry or research experience focused on semiconductor devices or processes.
- Hands-on experience in Python or C, Shell programming.
- Experience or coursework in semiconductor device physics, process flow, layout, and simple circuit design and simulation.
- The ability to work independently after the initial ramp-up time.
Responsibilities

- Ensure robust and accurate model simulations.
