Job description

The Process Integration Development Engineer will join Intel Foundry's Silicon Technology Development Quality and Reliability organization. This role focuses on driving technology certification and defect reduction by collaborating across various teams to identify reliability risks and evaluate technology readiness. The engineer will contribute to advancing integrated reliability methodologies and defect reliability assessments. The position requires strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to enhance product quality and reliability.

Requirements

  • The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Reliability Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and experimental design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated and defect reliability certification strategies for advanced semiconductor process technologies.
  • Drive technology certification activities, including HTOL, ELFR, ELF modeling, and related reliability assessments.
  • Design and execute experiments to characterize reliability behavior and validate reliability models.
  • Develop reliability risk assessments and provide data-driven recommendations for technology readiness.
  • Build and apply statistical models to assess defectivity and product quality.
  • Collaborate with process integration, design, device, manufacturing, and product teams to resolve technology reliability challenges.
  • Drive statistical quality methodologies, including process capability analysis and process monitoring systems.
  • Develop automation, data analytics, and AI-assisted solutions to improve engineering productivity.
  • Communicate technical findings, recommendations, certification status, and risks to stakeholders.
