Job description

The Retail Finance Process, Analytics, Reporting, and Technology (PART) team is seeking a motivated analyst to support Apple's financial growth. This role involves partnering with business and finance teams to understand commercial initiatives and develop reporting, analysis, and tools for efficient finance operations. The analyst will handle internal reporting and data optimization to enhance the capabilities of the WW Retail Sales Finance Organization. Critical thinking and the ability to work with complex data sets are essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant finance data analysis experience in areas such as FP&A, retail finance, revenue analytics, or cost analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a quantitative field.
  • MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a quantitative field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and their data structures, such as ADP or Workday.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling.
  • Experience in building interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Streamlit, or Shiny.
  • Basic understanding of data design pattern differences between transactional ERP systems and analytical data warehouses.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate analysis results in business terms.
