The DoorDash Air team is focused on bringing drone delivery to reality by building a strong electrical team to design high reliability, high power density converters, and fault-tolerant controls electronics. In this role, you will own critical subsystems of aircraft and ground systems, with your designs operating in the field and in the air within a year. You will collaborate closely with various engineering teams to impact customer and merchant interactions with the systems. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly innovative environment dedicated to enhancing last-mile logistics.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing electronics circuits in highly cross-functional work environments.
• Experience building prototypes to identify the best sensors and actuators for applications.
• Ability to debug complex systems and identify issues caused by signal integrity, electromagnetic interference, hardware design errors, or firmware bugs.

• Design mechatronics systems from a blank sheet.
• Own the electrical design while collaborating closely with firmware, systems, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Impact how customers and merchants interact with the systems.
