As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating embedded and cloud edge software that powers next-generation products. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience is also acceptable.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience is also acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Create software and firmware test plans that address requirements traceability and test coverage.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated software and firmware test suites.
- Manually test the customer experience of installation and deployment of Qualcomm hardware and software.
- Assist in creating a Quality Engineering and Release engineering process focused on continuous integration and deployment.
- Ensure existing Operating Systems and customer usage environments run efficiently while identifying opportunities for enhancements.
