The CE Industrial Controls Systems Engineer Manager at Microsoft will lead a team of skilled engineers focused on maintaining and innovating industrial control systems within data centers. This role emphasizes collaboration with IT and Critical Environments experts to ensure system availability, data quality, and security. The manager will also oversee project management and governance of global initiatives related to industrial control systems. This position is integral to delivering core infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 3+ years technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, systems engineering, or industrial controls.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of highly qualified engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
- Utilize telemetry analytics to drive informed decision-making and optimize system availability and performance.
- Maintain Industrial Control Systems (ICS-BAS/EPMS) availability, data quality, service and change management, reporting, and security.
- Oversee site level ICS program and project management, governing and participating in global initiatives.
- Manage and govern Microsoft’s electrical and mechanical industrial control systems within mission-critical datacenters.
- Ensure compliance with CO+I’s safety programs and policies, fostering a culture of safety and security.
