Job description

The KYC Modernization Project Manager is a seasoned professional responsible for leading and managing complex KYC modernization initiatives. This role requires in-depth knowledge of KYC processes and integration across Operations, Business, Technology, and Control functions. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and execution activities while providing executive updates on progress and risks. The position also involves coaching new recruits and ensuring that all program areas are appropriately staffed.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in project and program management within the financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience building complex project plans and knowledge of project management tools like PTS and JIRA.
  • Strong understanding of consumer financial services and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage KYC modernization initiatives and contribute to process improvement techniques.
  • Serve as a liaison between Operations, Business, Technology, and Control functions.
  • Define scope, requirements, and execution activities for KYC modernization projects.
  • Provide executive status updates on program progress, risks, and issues.
  • Create and manage the program risk management plan.
