Job description
The Process Integration Development Engineer role at Intel focuses on advancing semiconductor process technologies within the Logic Technology Development group. This position involves designing, optimizing, and implementing integrated process solutions for next-generation technology. Engineers will play a critical role in transitioning emerging technologies from development to high-volume manufacturing.
Requirements
- The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field.
- 2+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience in semiconductor processing, semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology.
- 2+ years of experience in Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), or Computational Data Skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.
- Participate in the development of intellectual property.
- Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
- Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing.
