This role involves working within the AWS Infrastructure Services team, which is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. The team is diverse, consisting of engineers, supply chain specialists, and security experts, all focused on maintaining high standards for safety and security while optimizing costs. The position requires collaboration across various teams and regions to develop innovative solutions for data center designs. Candidates will engage in projects that impact millions of customers and contribute to sustainability initiatives.

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360.
• 6+ years of design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience.
• Professional Engineering or Architectural License.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for the relevant region.
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.

• Produce clear and concise documentation including design specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Safeguard the implementation of the Global Electrical Basis of Design by driving standardization in electrical designs.
• Develop strategic solutions that meet quality and budgetary requirements.
• Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests during projects.
• Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify appropriate electrical equipment.
• Manage concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions.
