As a Senior IT Analyst for Operational Technology and Lab-Applications at Elanco, you will serve as a vital link between global IT teams and operational technology in manufacturing and R&D. Based in Clinton, IN, you will be part of the TechOps IT OTLA team, focusing on the integration and support of systems that enhance Elanco's innovation and production capabilities. Your role will involve managing the application lifecycle and guiding IT/OT projects to ensure operational stability. This position emphasizes collaboration, technical expertise, and continuous improvement in a diverse work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Process Automation, Operational Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Operational Technology infrastructure support.
Responsibilities
- Partner with key business customers in manufacturing and R&D to elicit, analyze, and translate business needs into detailed application and operational requirements.
- Take full ownership of the application lifecycle for local OT/IT systems, including solution development, vendor management, computer system validation, break-fix support, and release management.
- Guide and manage multiple IT/OT projects simultaneously, developing project plans, managing budgets and schedules, and communicating status to stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance for the integration and support of IT/OT solutions, performing complex troubleshooting of systems, infrastructure, and databases to ensure operational stability.
- Proactively network with IT and OT resources across Elanco to stay informed of company-wide initiatives, share reusable solutions, and capture and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement.
