The role involves working as a software applications engineer within Qualcomm's Display and Graphics Software Customer Engineering team. The engineer will primarily support Linux-based software on Snapdragon platforms, focusing on device drivers and debugging features. This position requires strong programming skills in C/C++ and a solid understanding of display and graphics technologies. The candidate will also interact with customers and internal teams, providing training and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
- 1+ year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience in device driver programming and debugging.
Responsibilities
- Support customers with understanding and integrating Qualcomm software.
- Provide training to customers on Qualcomm software and tools.
- Work with display and graphics software support on Qualcomm's embedded platforms.
- Travel to customer sites and Qualcomm offices for support and meetings.
- Interface continually with QCT customers and internal teams.
