Job description

The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Microsoft Devices Operations will lead an AI-powered intelligence product from inception to customer delivery. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams to define product vision and drive measurable outcomes. The TPM will be accountable for the entire product lifecycle, including definition, delivery, and go-to-market strategies. The position emphasizes a growth mindset and a commitment to innovation and collaboration within a diverse team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Hands-on data fluency with the ability to work directly with product and operational data.

Responsibilities

  • Own a single intelligence product from business problem through customer outcome.
  • Define the product vision, scenarios, roadmap, and business requirements for the product.
  • Own prioritization and make scope and trade-off decisions.
  • Prototype solutions and work directly with the underlying data.
  • Translate business needs into technically viable AI product capabilities.
  • Drive engineering delivery through architects, feature teams, and TPMs.
  • Own go-to-market, customer readiness, adoption, and the resulting business outcome.
  • Identify portions of the product or workflow that can be automated with AI.
  • Take real capabilities to customers, learn from usage, and iterate.
