Job description

As a Linux Peripheral Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will focus on the design, development, and support of peripheral subsystems, particularly USB and low-speed interfaces like I2C and SPI. You will engage in hands-on kernel and driver development, debugging, and optimization in Linux and Android environments. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.
  • Proven experience as a Linux Kernel Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux kernel architecture and build tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop peripheral subsystems on Qualcomm platforms.
  • Analyze system-level use cases and translate requirements into software design.
  • Engage in hands-on kernel and driver development in Linux and Android environments.
  • Provide on-site customer support to validate and resolve peripheral-related issues.
