·FY 2025Job description
The Senior Memory Systems Engineer at NVIDIA will focus on HBM and LPDDR integration in sophisticated SoCs, overseeing the full stack from silicon to product development. This role is part of the Silicon Co-Design Group, which drives system-level feature development and integration. The engineer will tackle complex memory challenges and ensure performance, power management, and reliability across various components. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with motivated engineers, contributing to the next era of computing.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in HBM, LPDDR, or high-speed memory systems.
- Hands-on experience in silicon bringup, characterization, and debug at scale.
- Deep understanding of SI/PI, timing, margining, and memory training behavior.
- Familiarity with HBM PHY and controller architecture is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Drive HBM and LPDDR system integration, bringup, characterization, and debug for next-generation SoCs.
- Own memory performance, power management, thermal, and reliability closure across silicon, package, board, and firmware.
- Lead post-silicon margining, VF shmoo, eye, and correlation work across voltage, temperature, and frequency.
- Debug and resolve memory training, calibration, SI/PI, and system-level stability issues.
- Define validation, characterization, and issue-tracking plans across chip programs.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
