As an Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage cross-functional projects focused on developing and delivering innovative sortation and distribution solutions. • 3+ years of experience as an industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience working with material handling equipment (MHE).
• Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies, and storage solutions.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level.
• Master's degree in engineering, management, or technology is preferred.
• Experience working with and managing third-party vendors.
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.

• Manage the lifecycle of challenging projects and deliver on project objectives and targets.
• Participate in engineering reviews and impact proposed solutions on system architecture and facility processes.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to set project priorities and drive schedules.
• Lead execution efforts in delivering systems and automated equipment designs according to established standards.
• Communicate project status, risk analysis, and mitigation plans promptly and accurately.
• Articulate system and equipment designs to internal customers and partner teams.
• Manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice validations.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance engineering efficiencies.
