Job description

The iPhone Division is looking for an Analog Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team focused on developing future iPhone products. This role involves designing, implementing, and integrating various analog function blocks and subsystems, including power, audio, battery management, and sensors. The position offers opportunities for collaboration with Apple's internal teams and external partners throughout different development stages. Candidates should have a strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal systems and hands-on experience in hardware prototyping and debugging.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Strong analog and mixed-signal fundamentals, including noise, linearity, and signal integrity
  • Deep understanding of mixed-signal building blocks such as op-amps, filters, ADCs, DACs, and output drivers
  • Familiarity with low-power electronics, sensors, and sensor-interface circuits
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience across multiple analog domains, including power management and audio analog circuits
  • Exposure to IC definition and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement analog function blocks and subsystems for future iPhone products
  • Integrate various analog components including power, audio, and battery management systems
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and external teams throughout the development process
  • Prototype, characterize, and debug mixed-signal hardware to ensure functionality and performance

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
