Job description
The role is for a Hardware Engineer in Apple's Camera Hardware Engineering group, focusing on the design and development of high-performance camera modules and depth-sensing hardware. The team is responsible for all aspects of camera hardware research, design, development, testing, and qualification for Apple products. The position requires collaboration with various teams to create innovative camera technologies that enhance user photography experiences. Candidates should be passionate about tackling complex challenges in camera systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in design or manufacturing of optomechanical products.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Experience delivering products at scale from concept to mass production.
- Understanding of camera system architecture and optical components.
- Knowledge of failure analysis techniques including optical microscopy and X-ray.
