This role is part of Apple's Information Systems and Technology organization, specifically within the Data Center Network Security Engineering team. The focus is on designing, implementing, and securing large-scale cloud and data center network infrastructures. The engineer will collaborate with the SDI team to influence the design of next-generation security products and operationalize innovative security solutions. This position requires a strong passion for network security across hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.

• 10+ years of experience in building, securing, and deploying large scale data center network and cloud environments.
• CISSP or equivalent certification(s).
• Sophisticated knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and security protocols.
• Deep technical background in network-layer security mechanisms.
• Extensive understanding of public and private cloud networking security architecture and compute virtualization technologies.
• Experience in OVS, Container, and Kube networking.
• Proficiency in one or more software languages such as Swift, Golang, or Python.
• Linux/Unix competence.
