The Xcode Intelligence Foundations team develops tools that enable developers to harness machine learning in software development. This team focuses on integrating Xcode with intelligent tools, including third-party coding agents and large language models. Engineers will work collaboratively with peers and industry partners to build features and prototype new software development tools. Candidates should be prepared to address challenges related to generative AI and prioritize user-centric design.

• 3 years of experience developing desktop or mobile applications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field
• A track record of building thoughtful, polished user experiences
• A demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively
• Experience with generative AI concepts and technologies
• Familiarity with Swift and Apple's platforms and SDKs
• Experience building developer tools or LLM-assisted experiences
• Strong depth of understanding in performance optimization, API design, compilers, information retrieval structures, language tooling, or interfaces between probabilistic inference and deterministic software systems

• Build and maintain frameworks and systems that integrate Xcode with intelligent tools
