The Senior Electrical Engineer position at Jacobs involves working on exciting projects as an owner’s representative for the Federal group in Huntsville, Alabama. This role requires a self-motivated and organized individual with a focus on customer service. The engineer will be responsible for establishing design standards and providing expert electrical engineering insights. Collaboration with various stakeholders and multitasking on multiple projects are key aspects of this position.

• An active Secret Security Clearance is required, with Top Secret preferred.
• US Citizenship is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution is necessary.
• Attainment of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferable.
• A minimum of ten years of related experience in commercial or government office building design and construction is required.

• Act as a consultant in establishing design standards and criteria for construction projects.
• Provide expert electrical engineering comments based on established requirements.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance during construction.
• Coordinate with client colleagues, Project Managers, customers, and other project team members as necessary.
• Assist in the development of reports, studies, and presentations.
