Arcadis is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineering Project Manager to join their Global Mobility team. This role focuses on leading traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems, and traffic operations across the United States. • Previous experience in traffic or transportation engineering.
• Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer license in Tennessee or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Experience with traffic analysis tools and field implementation of traffic signal timing.
• Professional credentials related to traffic, transportation, or operations research are a plus.
• Familiarity with design and traffic analysis software.
• Experience with state or local transportation projects.
• Familiarity with field audits, traffic sign and pavement marking design, or traffic signal field testing.
• Knowledge of local agency processes and permit requirements.

• Lead traffic operations, safety initiatives, travel demand analysis, and ITS design on a variety of projects.
• Conduct microsimulation and operational analyses to inform decisions regarding traffic flow and capacity.
• Develop signal timing plans and input data for centralized and local control systems.
• Design signing, pavement markings, and ITS layouts.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support operations and maintenance policies and their implementation for integrated corridor management.
