Job description

The Corporate Banking Senior Analyst for Financial Institutions Network Banking North America is an intermediate-level role focused on providing analytical, research, and transaction execution support to the FIG Network Banking team. This position involves conducting financial and economic research on foreign financial institutions and organizing complex data to create strategic client proposals. The Senior Analyst will also assist in executing capital markets and Treasury and Trade Solutions transactions. This role is essential for building portfolio intelligence and supporting senior executives in client interactions.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or financial institutions research.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation design using PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A theoretical and practical understanding of corporate banking, capital markets, and transaction banking products.
  • SIE, Series 79 and 63 licenses are required within 150 days of joining.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data from foreign financial institutions to evaluate creditworthiness and operational performance.
  • Provide detailed evaluations of financial performance compared to global peer groups and market trends.
  • Create and maintain complex financial models and statistical exhibits for strategic plans.
  • Conduct ongoing economic and financial research on global financial markets and correspondent banking trends.
  • Prepare high-quality pitch books and client proposals for strategic presentations.
  • Draft comprehensive briefing memos and background profiles on clients for executive meetings.
  • Participate actively in client transactions and advisory projects as part of the coverage team.
  • Partner with product specialists to gather pricing and product data for customized client solutions.
  • Assist in coordinating client trading initiatives and market transactions.
  • Gather and analyze KYC and AML documentation for high-scrutiny clients.
  • Monitor portfolio clients for early warning indicators of risk and escalate findings to Bankers.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to compliance policies and regulatory guidelines.
