Citi is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join the AI Automation Forward Deployed Engineering team within Consumer Operations Technology. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of complex web applications while driving critical engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will mentor junior engineers and shape architectural standards at a global financial institution. • Mastery of Angular (6+), TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and modern build tools.
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization, lazy loading, responsive design, and web accessibility standards.
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture and integrating APIs such as RESTful, WebSockets, and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying UI applications on cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead UI design initiatives and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of highly responsive, accessible, and scalable web applications using Angular and modern UI technologies.
• Collaborate with AI and backend teams to build intuitive user interfaces for intelligent operations solutions.
• Set credible technical direction for front-end engineering, establishing best practices and coding standards.
• Work closely with DevOps and platform teams to deploy UI applications within containerized and cloud-native environments.
• Design interfaces that simplify complex financial data, transactions, and workflows while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
