Job description

The candidate will manage a team of engineers in the Hardware Validation Engineering (HVE) team, focusing on post-Silicon hardware system validation for next generation Mac and Data Center systems. This role involves testing and debugging new system hardware throughout the product development cycle. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software, Silicon, and Hardware engineering, to execute tests and debug failures. The position requires analyzing large data sets to identify trends and working with various teams to enhance system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working on Test or Validation
  • Previous experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon validation
  • Strong background in computer architecture and IO protocols such as PCIe and USB
  • Programming experience in Python, C, and Shell scripting
  • Familiarity with System Power management and macOS
  • Experience with test automation and large scale testing
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Tableau, JMP, and Splunk

Responsibilities
