Job description

The ITS Support Engineer role at Amazon involves providing high-quality technical support to corporate employees, ensuring their IT systems operate seamlessly. Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Windows Server technologies such as AD, DFS, Print Services, and SCCM.
  • 2+ years of troubleshooting experience in a multi-user high availability environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery.
  • 2+ years of networking experience including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of computer networking experience.
  • Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site, high-quality, hands-on support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
  • Assist with triaging and escalating system or network outages to minimize downtime.
  • Understand and execute change management activities in a high availability environment.
  • Participate with partner teams and vendors on continuous improvement projects.
  • Effectively manage and oversee IT asset inventories.
  • Participate in hiring efforts and mentor new team members.
  • Continuously expand skills and maintain knowledge of IT policies.
  • Occasionally travel based on business needs.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call duty for high-severity incidents.
