Job description

Join the engineering team focused on testing software and frameworks for Apple's next generation human interface devices. The role emphasizes testing on macOS and iOS frameworks that enhance unique user interface experiences. Candidates will work closely with low-level software and contribute data to processing pipelines. The ideal candidate is proactive in bug tracking and collaboration with developers to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience programming in Python and one other object-oriented programming language such as Objective C, Swift, or Java.
  • Experience in testing and debugging UI frameworks.
  • Skilled in bug hunting and identifying regressions.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and scheduling systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and data processing.
  • MS or PhD in Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related degrees.
  • Knowledge of Mac systems and MacOS/iOS or UNIX variants.
  • Previous experience with software measurement tools to analyze performance and memory usage.
  • Ability to thrive in uncertain, rapid project schedules.
