As a Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead cross-functional projects focused on site configurations and testing for new facility launches and retrofits. • Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution
• Experience building launch readiness frameworks and scalable deployment mechanisms
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products at an advanced level
• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with retrofits, launches, or automation deployments
• Experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale

• Own the end-to-end testing and validation of site configurations across new launches and retrofits.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to set project priorities and drive schedules.
• Proactively assess configuration readiness and identify gaps or risks in advance of deployment timelines.
• Lead and coordinate execution efforts to validate that systems and processes function per established standards.
• Monitor and report on testing progress including significant milestones and conditions affecting site launch.
• Solve ambiguous problems across multiple configurations and systems to improve readiness and reduce defects.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to optimize team efficiency and improve site readiness visibility.
