Job description
The AWS Marketplace team is seeking a Data Engineer to extract insights from extensive partner and customer data. This role focuses on building scalable data platforms and analytics solutions to support business decisions. The Data Engineer will work with large-scale data structures and implement data ingestion routines using AWS technologies. The position emphasizes collaboration and the importance of high-performance data analytics in driving revenue and customer success.
Requirements
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases and data stores including object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, and column-family databases
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale data structures for analytics
- Implement data ingestion routines both in real-time and batch using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes
- Provide online reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools against large, multi-dimensional datasets
- Produce comprehensive documentation and metadata for datasets
- Provide input and recommendations on technical issues
