As a Senior Project Engineer at Elanco, you will lead the development and execution of major capital projects at the Clinton Manufacturing site. This hands-on engineering role requires significant field presence to oversee project execution and ensure safe work practices. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and external contractors to drive projects from concept through startup and closeout. Your focus will be on improving safety, reliability, compliance, capacity, and operational performance.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of engineering and capital project experience within a regulated industrial environment is necessary.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.

• Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of capital projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, User Requirements, and Design Requirements while supporting projects through the Capital Investment Committee approval process.
• Coordinate procurement activities, contractor management, equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.
• Forecast project spending, manage budgets, and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support project engineers by providing guidance on project execution and technical design considerations.
