As a Network Implementation Engineer at Google, you will play a crucial role in the deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks globally. You will collaborate with various teams, including Technical Program Managers and Network Engineers, to ensure successful project execution. • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in DWDM, TCP/IP, or system design operations methodology.
• Experience working with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors.
• 3 years of experience in carrier-class scale environments with in-depth technical knowledge of Layer 1 and Layer 2/3 networking.
• Familiarity with network automation tools, scripting, or SQL.

• Oversee and conduct quality assurance of installation technicians for networking equipment.
• Test routers, optical transport equipment, and other network devices in new and existing network nodes.
• Generate implementation plans and provide technical leadership during deployment activities.
• Work closely with project management and network engineering teams to identify potential problems in network installations.
• Own network documentation, updating and maintaining network drawings and plans.
