The Customer Engineer for Federal Civilian Agencies at Google Public Sector will partner with technical sales teams to showcase the capabilities of Google Cloud to prospective and existing customers. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and providing tailored cloud solutions, while also engaging in technical problem-solving and product demonstrations. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to effectively present solutions to various stakeholders. The team is dedicated to helping public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience in migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
• Experience with GenAI use cases, or deploying custom AI applications.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
• Support the technical relationship with customers through technology advocacy and product briefings.
• Demonstrate and prototype integrations of Google Cloud products in customer environments.
• Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures for successful implementation on Google Cloud.
• Lead prospecting and acquisition of new customers, establishing trusted advisor relationships.
