Job description

The Analyst role in Goldman Sachs' Private Equity Capital Call (PECC) team focuses on providing innovative fund-level financing solutions. The PECC team, part of the Capital Solutions Group, collaborates with various divisions and operates globally. The role involves conducting thorough diligence on private equity funds and developing tailored credit solutions. The Analyst will also engage in financial modeling and risk assessment to support underwriting decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in private equity and fund finance.
  • Relevant work experience in underwriting, lending, or investment banking is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of financial accounting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the PECC Team and other CSG groups to develop tailored credit solutions.
  • Conduct thorough diligence on private equity funds and sponsors.
  • Build and maintain borrowing base certificates and financial models.
  • Gather and analyze Limited Partner financial statements and credit data.
  • Evaluate the credit implications of complex structured loans.
  • Draft committee memos for loan originations and modifications.
  • Perform ongoing regulatory compliance and risk management efforts.
