Job description
This role is focused on leading the design and evolution of Azure Storage capabilities that support the next generation of AI platforms and hyperscale cloud services. The Azure Storage Control Plane Engineering team is responsible for building the foundational infrastructure that enables customers to manage their data at a global scale. Engineers will tackle complex challenges in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure while leveraging AI to enhance engineering productivity. This position offers the opportunity to influence the long-term architecture and technical roadmap for Azure Storage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, C++, Java, or equivalent languages.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of Azure Storage capabilities that power the next generation of AI platforms.
- Architect and deliver scalable control plane and management plane services for AI-scale workloads.
- Drive innovations in distributed systems and intelligent automation to enhance platform scale.
- Leverage AI engineering tools to improve code quality and enhance engineering productivity.
- Help define how AI transforms software engineering at hyperscale.
- Influence the long-term architecture and technical roadmap for Azure Storage.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for critical service components.
