Job description

The Staff Test Engineer in Hardware Security and OTP Programming at Qualcomm is responsible for leading a team in the development and optimization of security testing and programming solutions for semiconductor products. This role requires a deep understanding of hardware security principles and test methodologies. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and reliability of ASIC and SoC devices. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading/managing engineering teams.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in ATE and test methodologies.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming languages such as Java and C++.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of hardware security test engineers.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business goals.
  • Develop test programs in Java and VB for ATE platforms.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve yield and performance.
