Qualcomm is looking for a Senior Engineer to join the DDR Customer Engineering Software team, focusing on software enablement and platform support for advanced DDR memory subsystems. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams and customers to ensure successful commercialization of SoCs. Candidates should have strong expertise in system software, DDR architecture, and debugging. The ideal candidate will thrive in cross-functional environments and be passionate about solving complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field.
- 1+ year of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
Responsibilities
- Support DDR enablement and platform bring-up across firmware, bootloaders, and operating system environments.
- Investigate and resolve complex DDR-related issues including memory corruption and system crashes.
- Perform root cause analysis of memory subsystem behaviors involving DDR controllers and system-level interactions.
- Collaborate with customers and OEMs to support memory configuration and technical escalations.
- Analyze and optimize DDR performance, memory bandwidth utilization, and overall system efficiency.
- Develop and leverage debug methodologies and automation tools to improve productivity and quality.
