Job description

The role is for a full stack software engineer on the Business Operations Automation team within AWS Hardware Engineering. This team focuses on building and maintaining services that automate business processes, enhancing efficiency and operations. The engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems using AWS technologies. Collaboration with various teams is essential to deliver high-quality solutions and improve user experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop a tool-set to increase the efficiency and operation of AWS Hardware Engineering.
  • Own features end to end including frontend, backend, database, and automated testing.
  • Recommend product improvements based on user experience and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with engineers, TPMs, and PMs to deliver an amazing customer experience.
